My brother and I live together and over the past few years there has been a bunch of feral cats which have appeared as there is a couple of housing estates backing on to each other. We have been trying to trap neuter and release the cats. One of the cats we noticed looked like had been hit by a car, we were able to catch the cat and bring it immediately to Village Vets Bray, they helped so much to assist and comfort the cat even though in the end we all couldn't do much for the cat it was that badly injured. The team on the day even with me were amazing, we all felt the loss and they had a candle lighting to mark the sad time of the cat being put asleep will be something I don't forget. Two days later one of the kittens we found in our garden was struggling and we said we must have the vets look at this cat. The team again seen me without an appointment and had saved the cats life. They recommended and provided treatment while we worked with Arklow Cat Rescue to have the kitten fostered. Thankfully today a month on the kitten is doing amazing, has settled down completely and loves human company. All of the above both good and bad times Village Vets Bray was there for us. They were extremely professional and you could feel the love and caring nature from all the team. I have been to other vets in the past when I was a child with cats we owned and they were not as welcoming. I would 100% recommend Village Vet Brays and in the future would have no problem to avail of their services.
